Dr. Karen Lindsley has progressed actively in research education and clinical research, from coordinator to leader, supervisor and manager. She is an RN with a Master of Science Nursing (MSN) from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Health Systems Management from Emory University. She is credentialed as a CCRC and in diabetes education (CDCES). She was an Invited member of the NIH-sponsored TrialNet (TN22) Protocol Committee. Currently, she is the manager for both the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance (Georgia CTSA) Coordinating Center and Regulatory Knowledge & Support (RKS) Center. As the RKS Manager for The Georgia CTSA (alliance between Morehouse SOM, Georgia Tech, University of Georgia and Emory University) she collaborates with all four academic entities regarding regulatory aspects of research. She works with each of the four IRB teams and is emersed in research regulations, ethical considerations related to artificial intelligence.
