As Chief Operating Officer at BRCR Global since 2012, he has led the expansion of a 35-site research network across 9 countries in the Americas. Carlos has developed regulatory strategies and SOPs aligned with GCP, ICH, and FDA standards, while pioneering Quality Management Systems (QMS) that integrate digital tools and real-time metrics to optimize site efficiency and data quality. Previously Director of Regulatory Affairs at BRCR Global, he honed skills in IRB submissions, budget negotiations, and collaboration with sponsors and regulatory agencies in the U.S. and Latin America. A graduate in Organizational Psychology from Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, Carlos combines technical expertise with transformational leadership.
