I began my clinical research career as a Research Assistant at a university-level institution, where I gained foundational knowledge of research regulations and their daily application. I then moved on to spend four years as a Clinical Research Coordinator at large healthcare systems, coordinating diverse trials and deepening my understanding of the clinical trial process from a holistic perspective. Through establishing those skills, I became a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for about two years at a newly established multinational clinical trial site, where I helped build operations from the ground up, led quality initiatives, and conducted internal monitoring—all while earning my ACRP certification. Currently, I serve as a Research Accountability Specialist within a QA/QI team. In this role, I’ve helped design and implement a new quality program that leverages my experience, utilizes critical thinking, and involves stakeholder engagement.
