Korrey Monroe is the Research Program Manager at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA). In this role, he collaborates with the department director to facilitate innovative research that raises awareness and provides resources for underserved populations across North Carolina, particularly in safety net settings. In 2025, the research team concluded its study on exploring clinical research participation in underserved communities, involving patients, community health workers, and primary care providers from safety net organizations. Korrey graduated in 2024 from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health, earning a Master of Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology. While at Michigan, he participated in several research studies focused on health equity, health disparities, and social determinants of health with minority communities in Southeastern Michigan.
