Kathleen OMalley is the Director of Education and Training at Jefferson Clinical Research Institute and Assistant Program Director for the MS in Clinical Research. With over 35 years in clinical nursing and research, she brings deep expertise in operational and educational leadership. Kathleen is committed to empowering others and improving lives through impactful research. She has designed and implemented educational programs that equip clinical research personnel with the knowledge and resources needed to conduct high-quality research benefiting patients and communities. Recently, she has combined her professional expertise and personal passion to develop an innovative Workforce Development Program aimed at addressing critical staffing shortages. This grassroots initiative focuses on reducing barriers to entry, fostering workforce diversity, and creating sustainable career pathways, while also building strong community partnerships and raising awareness of research career opportunities.
