Kaushal Shah, PhD

Kaushal Shah is the Associate Director for the Clinical Research Management and Regulatory Science Programs at the Arizona State University (ASU). At ASU, Kaushal manages the only accredited program for clinical research management in the United States.
She has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and more than 20 years of diverse global work experience in corporate and academia. Kaushal has worked with a vast spectrum of medical products (pharmaceutical drugs, biological drugs, diagnostic products, and stem cells) in public and private healthcare settings in multiple regulatory environments. Kaushal has leveraged this to develop expertise in clinical research management, ethics, clinical research operations, clinical research financial planning, and regulatory compliance. She has written several textbooks on these topics.
Kaushal serves as the President of the Phoenix chapter of ACRP and is the Co-Chair for the Annual Embracing Change Conference on Clinical Research. In her free time, she volunteers at her local library, loves watching the beautiful Phoenix skies, and is learning to listen to Taylor Swift to keep up with her teenage daughter.
