Dr. Tiffany Taylor Mayo, M.D., FAAD, CPI is a nationally recognized, board-certified dermatologist and tenured Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She directs the Dermatology Clinical Research Unit and leads the Ethnic Skin and Hair Clinic, serving as principal investigator on numerous industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. Her research portfolio includes Phase 2 and Phase 3 studies on alopecia areata, vitiligo, hidradenitis suppurativa, atopic dermatitis, and other underrepresented skin and hair conditions. She also serves on the ACRP Board of Trustees. As the Gary Monheit Endowed Scholar, Dr. Mayo advances dermatologic research for diverse populations while integrating skin-of-color training and structural competency into medical education.
