Andrew Mould is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University with over a decade of experience in clinical trial science. He specializes in innovative methodologies for large, multicenter trials and has made significant contributions to neuroimaging research in intracranial hemorrhage, notably through the MISTIE and CLEAR trials. As Director of the Data Coordinating Center at BIOS, he leads the Brain Injury Outcomes Neuroimaging Center (BIONIC), which houses one of the largest global repositories of brain hemorrhage and edema data. His team developed machine learning tools for automated blood volume measurement, now used in the BEACH trial. His work has improved trial efficiency and accessibility, earning him international recognition and multiple awards for his contributions to science and clinical research. Beyond neurology, Andrew plays a key role in NIH’s HEAL Initiative and the NCATS-funded Trial Innovation Center, advancing decentralized clinical trials through wearable tech and cloud systems.
